The constructions work at the first casino that will operate by Cyprus Casinos on the island is nearly finished. The temporary casino that will operate within this summer, is a precursor of the City of Dreams Mediterranean Casino Resort, which is planned to be constructed in Fasouri, scheduled to open in 2021.

Within a distance of just a few kilometres from the Casino Resort, this temporary casino is housed in the building where the former Orphanides Supermarket used to operate, in a land of thousands of square meters. The construction work in the building are on their final stages by now, drastically changing its previous form. Letting its latest decayed and desolated image in the past for good, this renovation is the first step towards the plans for upgrading the area.

Columbia Restaurants has undertaken the dining services in the casino and it is already in search of the staff that will be employed there. All the catering services in the temporary casino of Cyprus Casinos in Zakaki will be running under the same company and Columbia Bistro will be the dining venue operating in it.
